Michael McCarty

Michael Mccarty is an experienced wellsite supervisor with a strong background in drilling operations, having held various positions at reputable companies in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Wellsite Supervisor at Devon Energy since October 2023, Michael previously worked as a Drilling Consultant for Franklin Mountain Energy, LLC, and has extensive experience supervising well sites for companies such as Percussion Petroleum II, LLC, Lakewood Energy LLC, and Forge Energy. Throughout his career, Michael has focused on overseeing the safety, productivity, and efficiency of rig crews across various projects in the West Texas region, complemented by earlier roles at Helmerich & Payne, INTERSTATE PETROLEUM INC., Energen, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, and Nomac Drilling. Michael holds an Associate’s Degree in Welding and Pre-Engineered Building from NCBC.
