Mike Smith

Mike Smith has extensive experience in environmental policy and management, currently serving as Public Policy Manager at Devon Energy since March 2015, where previous roles included Senior Environmental Policy Advisor and EHS Supervisor. Prior to Devon Energy, Mike Smith worked at Chaparral Energy, LLC from September 2011 to February 2015 as the Manager of the Air Quality Department and as an Environmental Engineer. Earlier experience includes positions at DCP Midstream as an Environmental Specialist, StanTech Environmental Services as an Environmental Consultant, and the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality as an Environmental Specialist. Mike Smith holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology from Kansas State University.
