Joel Kruger

Joel Kruger has over 8 years of work experience in the technology sector. In 2013, they began their career as a Tech Support & IT at Solidoodle, where they installed and managed Quickbooks Server, developed wireless capabilities for 3D Printers using Raspberry Pi, and developed standalone 3D printing via touch-screen. In 2014, they moved to Linode as a Customer Support Specialist, where they troubleshot Debian and Red Hat based Linux VPS servers, supported customers via phone and ticket, and contributed to technical documentation. In 2015, they joined Rhythmic Technologies, Inc. as a Junior Operations Engineer, where they contributed to Ansible Repository, developed infrastructure using Vagrant, and specialized in Agile and DevOps practices. In 2017, they became a DevOps Engineer at AbleVets LLC. In 2018, they were promoted to Sr. DevOps Engineer at Public Broadcasting Service. In 2019, they moved to Ntrepid LLC as a DevSecOps Engineer. In 2020, they joined GovernmentCIO as a DevSecOps Architect. In 2021, they began roles as a Cloud Architecture Consultant at dynamicVSM and a DevOps Institute Ambassador (DOIA) at DevOps Institute. Currently, they are a Presales Solutions Architect at Quarrio.

Joel Kruger has a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of South Florida, which they obtained from 2006 to 2011. Joel also has a High School Diploma in Music from Blake High School, which they obtained from 2002 to 2006.
