Alex Rea is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in technology and engineering leadership. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at DevOps1 since August 2022, Alex focuses on optimizing delivery for clients through Platform Engineering, Security Engineering, and Quality and Observability. Prior to this role, Alex was the Country Head for Engineering Modernization at Wipro, overseeing a significant business unit with 1,000 FTEs and a turnover of 180 million. Additionally, Alex led the Technology Assurance Group at Ampion, managing a team of 500 professionals with full P&L responsibility. From March 2013 to January 2020, Alex held the position of General Manager for Enterprise Quality Engineering, Testing, and DevOps at Revolution IT. Alex holds a degree in Languages, Business, and Politics from Oxford Brookes University, with proficiency in Japanese, French, and Spanish.
