Hiring individual engineers is easy, getting real software outcomes is hard.

DevOptix is a software consultancy led by engineers. We help companies modernise systems, build new products, and stabilise their delivery by putting the right expertise in the right place. Sometimes this involves a senior engineer contributing specialist expertise to support delivery within a defined scope of work, other times it calls for a delivery team that carries the outcome from start to finish.

Our focus is simple
• Modernisation that cleans up legacy instead of adding more complexity
• Cloud and platform engineering that is stable, observable, and cost aware
• Integration and APIs that make systems work together instead of fighting each other
• Applied AI where it actually moves the needle for the business

Many of our consultants come from South Africa. They bring a strong work ethic, solid engineering skills, and an easy cultural fit because they speak English and Afrikaans and learn Dutch quickly.

DevOptix is SNA certified (NEN 4400-1). That means our clients and partners can rely on compliant, transparent, and professional operations behind the scenes, not only on strong engineers on site.

Today we work with larger organisations through partner networks on complex engineering challenges, while increasingly focusing on SMEs that want a partner who takes ownership of delivery.

If you need help modernising your software, moving to the cloud, or strengthening your engineering capability, reach out.

We are always open to conversations with
• SMEs that want a serious engineering partner
• Partners who value reliable consultants and smooth collaboration
• Senior engineers who want to do meaningful work in the Netherlands and beyond
