Andy Thompson is a Principal Consultant specializing in FinOps, DevOps, and AWS. With extensive experience in the field, they began their career as a QA Analyst at Norwich Union and progressed through roles at HM Customs & Excise and SPSS, later becoming a Senior QA Analyst when SPSS was acquired by IBM. At IBM, they held multiple roles including Test Architect and Senior DevOps Engineer, where they contributed to the development of IBM SPSS Modeler and Watson Studio. Most recently, at Devoteam, they focused on implementing DevOps best practices and managing FinOps initiatives for AWS environments.
