Hamid Mushtaq

Hamid Mushtaq is a Senior Consultant at Devoteam and a Databricks Champion. They hold a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Delft University of Technology, where they also earned a Master's degree in Embedded Systems. Hamid's professional experience includes roles as a Data Engineer at Vattenfall, a Data Integration Engineer at Etos, and a Big Data Engineer at Gemeente Rotterdam, among others. They have contributed to significant projects in big data and genomics, including winning a prize in the Apache Spark Makers Build Hackathon and co-authoring a paper with IBM. Previously, Hamid served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Technische Universiteit Delft, where they enhanced the GATK post-sequencing DNA analysis pipeline using Apache Spark.
