Jack Nye

Jack Nye is the Co-Chief Technology Officer at Devoted Health. Jack has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, including stints as a Vice President of Engineering and Senior Developer.

Jack began their career as a Network Admin/Programmer at the MIT Sloan School of Management in 1997. Jack then moved to the MIT Media Lab, where they worked as an Interface Implementation from 1997 to 1997. In 1998, they became a Senior Developer at the Schepens Eye Research Institute, where they worked for three years before moving to Ignition Technologies in 2001.

At Ignition Technologies, Jack worked as a Senior Developer for one year before moving to athenahealth in 2002. Jack spent 15 years at athenahealth, serving as the Vice President of Engineering from 2006 to 2017. During their time at athenahealth, they were responsible for over 500 software developers across multiple geographies and strategic responsibility for delivery against multiple product roadmaps. In addition to their engineering responsibilities, they also built a self-contained R&D office in Austin, Texas, which grew to over 200 employees by 2017.

Jack has been with Devoted Health since 2017 and has been instrumental in growing the company to over 100,000 medical providers in all 50 states.

Jack Nye's educational career began with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Jack Nye reports to Ed Park, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer. They are on a team with W. Bradley Yale - Chief Financial Officer, Neil Wagle - Chief Medical Officer, and Nancy Go - Chief Marketing Officer.
