Chen Sima

Chen Sima has had a long career in software engineering. In 2013, they began working as a Freelance Software Engineer for various domestic and international clients, developing windows and web based business solutions. In 2016, they took on the role of Lead IT Consultant at Hike, where they were responsible for software analysis, design/architecting and estimation, functional and technical documentation, and technical assistance and mentoring. In 2018, they joined Dell as a Senior Project Lead. Most recently, in 2019, they began working at DevRank as a Project Leader, where they were responsible for analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation, as well as managing requirements gathering with different stakeholders, project plan definition, budget control, team management, functional and technical analysis, UML modeling, Test Plan definition, project tracking, and change management. Chen also worked on BI Projects, creating SSIS packages, SSAS Cubes, Power BI reports, and a custom extraction tool developed internally.

Chen Sima attended the University of Northern Iowa from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services.
