Herb Caudill is the founder and CEO of DevResults. Herb has worked in the field of information technology for over 20 years, promoting technology-friendly policies and helping to further the adoption of IT in society.
Herb started their career as a volunteer with the Peace Corps, teaching mathematics in a rural high school in Guinea. Herb later worked with USAID as the Leland Initiative Coordinator, working with all stakeholders in the local Internet industry to promote technology-friendly national policies and to further the adoption of information technology in Guinean society. In this role, Herb authored a $1.3 million strategy for USAID/Guinea to broaden Internet usage nationwide.
Herb has used Internet technology to improve internal work processes and communications with Washington. Herb also designed and built an award-winning website to publicize USAID’s work in Guinea. In addition, Herb designed and implemented a $250,000 USAID project to create local Internet access points in the interior of Guinea, bringing the first Internet access ever to three cities with a total population of over 750,000 people.
Herb’s commitment to using technology to improve society has made him a leader in the field of information technology. Herb's work has helped to bring about positive change in the lives of people around the world.
Herb Caudill attended Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, where they received their MBA in Business & International Diplomacy. Prior to that, they completed their BS in Foreign Service at Baylor University.
