Blaž Ciglenečki has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. Blaž began their career as an Intern at UNESCO in 2011, followed by a Student Intern role at the Human Rights Ombudsman of the Republic of Slovenia in 2013. In 2014, they took on a Freelance Translator role at Beletrina, zavod za založniško dejavnost, where they co-translated the Red Book by C. G. Jung, translating from German to Slovene, proofreading coworkers’ translations and unifying the terminology/style. The book was published in 2015 (reprinted in 2016 and 2017). In 2016, they became an Associate at ŠELIH & PARTNERJI Law Firm, and in 2017 they became an Internal Auditor at Nova KBM d.d. Most recently, they are a Strategic Operations at DevRev, which they began in 2021.
Blaž Ciglenečki attended the University of Chicago from 2019 to 2020, where they obtained a Master of Arts in Social Sciences. Prior to that, they attended the University of Ljubljana, where they earned a Law Degree after four years of undergraduate study and one year of thesis writing/research. In August 2020, they received a Master of Arts certification from the University of Chicago.
