Ruoxi Li has a diverse work experience that spans multiple companies and roles. In 2018, they worked as a User Experience Designer at Microsoft, where they designed interfaces for Bing News and refreshed human interface guidelines for Bing Design. They also provided a research report for Microsoft Edge. In 2019, Ruoxi Li worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute, where they developed games for audio data collection and researched game experiences to promote healthy sleep. They also worked as a Sound Designer at Electronic Arts, designing a simulation game experience using the Alexa platform for The Sims. At Autodesk, Ruoxi Li worked as a User Experience Designer, where they designed and prototyped the Fusion 360 In-Product Recognitions experience and worked as a UX designer and strategist to define rules and conduct user testing. Ruoxi Li received a Master of Entertainment Technology degree from Carnegie Mellon University in 2020. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2018, they attended Jiangnan University and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in an Experimental Programme of Integrated Innovation. In 2016, Ruoxi Li also studied at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, focusing on Design Innovation. They briefly attended Yale University in the same year to study Interaction Design and Animation Principles. In addition, Ruoxi Li obtained a certification in Master of Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University in May 2020.
