Patrick DeVries, CSDS has over 40 years of work experience in various industries. Patrick began their career in 1974 as a Die Operator at Travis Pattern and Foundry, where they were responsible for pouring molten metal into molds. In 1977, they became an Owner/Operator at Wheaton Van Lines, where they accumulated 500,000 safe driving miles. In 1981, they purchased a 1/3 ownership in a local moving company, Devries Moving Packing Storage, and operated as an agent for Atlas Van Lines. In 1995, they founded DeVries Business Services, where they served as President and CEO. Here, they provided records and information management services throughout Eastern Washington, North Idaho and Western Montana. In 2018, they became Chairman of the Board at The Spokane Club. Most recently, in 2020, they were appointed President of i-SIGMA, an international secure governance and management association.

Patrick DeVries obtained a Business Administration and Management, General degree from Eastern Washington University between 1974 and 1980. In 1987, they completed a Leadership degree from Leadership Spokane with a focus on Servant Leadership. In April 2014, they obtained the Certified Secure Destruction Specialist (CSDS) certification from The National Association for Information Destruction, Inc. (NAID). Patrick also holds certifications from NAID, Better Business Bureau, and Professional Records and Information Services Management.
