Rui Barbosa

Rui Barbosa has a diverse range of work experience in the field of technology and information systems. Rui started their career as a Consultant at Compgal-Computadores de Portugal in 1997. Rui then worked as an IT Manager at Câmara Municipal de Gaia - Biblioteca Municipal, where they developed and implemented a document circuit system and improved information processing. Rui also worked as a Consultant at Fundação Gomes Teixeira and INESC - Porto before joining EFACEC – Sistemas de Informação as a Consultant in 1999. In 2000, Rui became the CTO and Owner of Centralbiz - ACE, where they served until 2003. Since 2003, Rui has been the CEO and Owner of Devscope.

Rui Barbosa's education history starts with their attendance at Colégio de Gaia from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a professional degree in Informatics. Following this, Rui pursued their undergraduate studies at Universidade do Minho from 1992 to 1997, earning a degree in Engineering with a specialization in Systems and Informatics. Later on, from 1998 to 2000, Rui completed their postgraduate studies at Universidade do Porto, obtaining a Master's degree in Information Management.
