Aaron Jones

Web Development Apprentice at Devslopes

Aaron Jones has a diverse work experience that spans several roles and industries. Aaron is currently working as a Web Development Apprentice at Devslopes, where they are undergoing training in HTML, CSS, and Java. Prior to this, they were an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Grand Canyon University, where they taught Principles of Chemistry labs. Aaron also served as an Interim Science Teacher at Lewis County Board of Education.

Before transitioning into education, Aaron worked as a Technical Services Manager at Wedlake Industries, LLC, where they analyzed raw materials for PVC blending operations and managed raw material inventory. Aaron has also worked as a Chemistry Teacher at Gilbert Unified School District 41 and Agua Fria Union H.S. District #216, where they taught chemistry and algebra 1 to students with learning disabilities.

Aaron has experience in teaching algebra 1 at the Arizona Department of Education-High School District Level and as an Advisor & Chemistry Teacher at Hope College and Career Readiness Academy. Additionally, they served as a Science Teacher Intern at Roosevelt School District-K to 8 and Roosevelt School District, where they implemented hands-on and inquiry-based approaches to teaching. Overall, Aaron has a strong background in education and a growing interest in web development.

Aaron Jones has a diverse education history. Aaron obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, from 2023 to 2028. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Chemistry with an emphasis in Higher Education from Grand Canyon University in 2021 and 2022.

In 2020, Aaron undertook a self-paced program in Full Stack Network Engineering from NexGenT. Before focusing on chemistry, they earned a Master's Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Grand Canyon University, completing it in 2015. Aaron'sBachelor's Degree in Chemistry was attained from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where they spent the years 2003 to 2007.

Apart from their academic qualifications, Aaron also holds a Standard Professional Secondary Teacher Certification obtained from the Arizona Department of Education in March 2018. Aaron is currently pursuing the Google IT Support Professional Certificate through Coursera, with an expected completion date of October 16, 2022.
