Aleicia Zhu is an accomplished individual with diverse experience in software and data engineering, machine learning, and computational research. As a Software and Data Engineering Intern at GridCARE, Aleicia developed a robust data pipeline that processed over 500GB of operational data, leveraging Python for data imputation. At the Music Information Retrieval Lab, significant advancements were made in composer recognition utilizing CUDA-enabled GPUs. Currently, as a Software and ML Engineering Intern at NASA Ames Research Center, Aleicia is building an automated stress testing system for critical software applications. Previous roles include a Full Stack Developer at Dasion, where AI solutions were implemented to optimize clinical processes, and a Robotics Engineer at Rutgers University, enhancing vehicle navigation accuracy. A strong academic background is evidenced by a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College and significant research contributions, including a first-authored IEEE paper on healthcare workflows.
