Francesco Vezzi

Francesco Vezzi is a seasoned bioinformatics professional with extensive experience in next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis and management. Since September 2017, Francesco has served as the Bioinformatic Manager at Devyser, following a tenure as the Production Bioinformatics Team Leader at SciLifeLab from February 2012 to September 2017. In this role, Francesco led NGS data management and delivery at the National Genomics Infrastructure platform. Previous positions include Application Specialist at NGI-Stockholm, focusing on NGS data analysis, and Postdoctoral Researcher at both KTH and the University of Udine, where Francesco worked on de novo genome assembly and computational method development. Francesco holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, both from Università degli Studi di Udine.
