David Dickson

David Dickson, CSP has extensive work experience in health, safety, and environmental roles. David is currently serving as the Associate Vice President of Health Safety & Environment (Corporate) at Dewberry since 2022. Prior to this, David worked as the Sr. Director of Health, Safety & Environment (Corporate) at Airgas from 2019 to 2022. David also held the position of Director of Environmental Health, Safety & Security (Corporate) at Resource Environmental Solutions LLC from 2017 to 2019, and Manager of Environmental Health, Safety & Security (Corporate Location) at Catalent Pharma Solutions from 2016 to 2017. Before transitioning to the corporate sector, David worked as the Director of Environmental Health, Safety & Training (Corporate) at Resource Environmental Solutions LLC from 2012 to 2016. Their career started in the US Navy, where they served as an Electro Mechanical Engineer & SONAR Analysis from 2003 to 2012.

David Dickson, CSP has a comprehensive educational background in environmental management and emergency management. David obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Environmental Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2014, following a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in the same field, which they completed in 2012. Additionally, they pursued a minor in Emergency Management during their time at the university, earning the degree in 2012. Prior to their academic pursuits, David also received various naval certifications during their service in the United States Navy from 2003 to 2010. Moreover, they hold several additional certifications, including Certified Safety Professional (CSP) from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, obtained in 2015. Further certifications include training in accident investigation, potent compound safety, respirator protection, erosion and sediment control, and HAZWOPER, among others.
