Nathan Custer

Nathan Custer, NCARB, AIA, LEED AP, is an accomplished architect and design director currently at Dewberry since February 2018, where responsibilities include leading concept development and overseeing architecture and planning projects across Illinois Studios. As the business owner and senior project architect at Bivouac Designs, LLC, Nathan specializes in residential architecture with a focus on experiential design. Nathan served as an adjunct professor in the Architecture and Architectural Construction Technology programs at Illinois Central College from July 2007 to September 2020, contributing to the education of future architects. Previous experience includes roles as project architect at Design Solutions Group, LLC, and architect at River City Design Group, along with early experience as an intern architect at Goldberg Downey Architects. Nathan holds a B.S.A.S. in Architecture and Urban Planning from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
