Dewis Ventures helps founder-led Canadian SMEs enter and win in Canada’s defence, aerospace, marine, and dual-use supply chains.

Many Canadian companies already have the products, technologies, services, or manufacturing capabilities defence buyers need. The challenge is knowing where they fit, how to position the company, who needs to hear the story, and how to turn interest into meetings, proposals, contracts, grants, ITB opportunities, and revenue.

We work with established Canadian businesses, typically $5M–$50M in annual revenue, that want defence to become a real growth channel.

We support clients with:

• Defence market-entry strategy
• Value proposition and positioning
• ITB strategy and prime-contractor alignment
• Buyer, partner, and program mapping
• Trade-show and meeting preparation
• Government grant and RFP strategy
• Proposal support
• Strategic advisory for scale, funding, and exit readiness

Our work is practical, founder-led, and outcome-focused. We do not produce generic reports that sit on a shelf. We help companies clarify where they fit, prepare to be taken seriously, engage the right buyers and partners, and pursue defence opportunities with discipline.

Dewis Ventures is small by design. Clients work directly with Scott Dewis, who has spent more than 25 years in defence, aerospace, and advanced technology as a founder, proposal lead, strategic advisor, and ITB market-access specialist.

If your company has defence potential but no clear path into the market, start with a Defence Market Fit Consultation.
