Stuart McFarlane

Stuart McFarlane is an experienced ICS Cyber-Security Consultant currently with Enbridge, providing advisory services for the Industrial Control Systems Cyber-Security Program. In addition, Stuart serves as an ICS Cyber-Security and Process Consultant at Dexcent, focusing on creating cybersecurity processes for ICS clients and advising on security best practices. Previously, Stuart worked at the University of Alberta for over two decades, holding various leadership roles such as Team Lead for Information Technology Service Management, Knowledge Manager, Director of Shared Technology Services, and IT Manager for multiple departments. Stuart also founded SDM Network Solutions, delivering technical services to the University of Alberta and local businesses, and began a career as a Biomedical Equipment Technician at Rockyview General Hospital. Stuart holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology from NAIT and has extensive expertise in IT systems and process management.
