Carolin Lucio

Carolin Lucio is a skilled quality assurance professional with extensive experience in the medical device and materials engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Staff QA Engineer at Dexcom since June 2023, Carolin is tasked with improving and maintaining the quality management system (QMS), alongside providing regulatory guidance to stakeholders. Prior experience includes a role as Quality Manager at HP from August 2016 to June 2023, where Carolin developed and implemented a QMS compliant with 21 CFR 820 and ISO 13485 for class II medical devices. Additionally, experience as an R&D Chemist involved the development of polymeric materials for 3D printing applications and establishing quality control protocols. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Chemistry and a Diploma in Chemistry from the University of Düsseldorf, along with an Intermediate Diploma in Biology.
