Collin Ran

Collin Ran is a seasoned medical device engineer with over 18 years of experience in product development, spanning from concept to regulatory approval. Currently a Principal Engineer in wearable sensors at Dexcom, Collin leads the system architecture for a wearable glucose sensor, focusing on enhancing adhesion and performance. Prior to this role, Collin served as a Senior Engineer at Dexcom, where they developed glucose sensor technology and supported large-scale production. Earlier in their career, Collin worked at Stryker as a Senior R&D Engineer, designing mechanical improvements for neurovascular stents that resulted in FDA cleared products. Collin is pursuing a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan.
