Colm McGowan

Colm McGowan is a highly skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in the field of polymer processing and engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Process Development Engineer at Dexcom since February 2025, Colm focuses on developing robust process methodologies and design of experiments (DOEs) for injection molding manufacturing of high-volume Class II medical devices, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in various domains. Prior to this role, Colm worked at Freudenberg Medical from July 2017 to February 2025 in multiple capacities, including Moulding Technical Team Leader, Senior Moulding Engineer, and Moulding Engineer. Colm's career began at Lindal Group as a Process Technician from November 2015 to April 2016. Colm holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Polymer Materials from Technological University of the Shannon (2019-2020) and a B.Eng in Polymer Processing from Institute of Technology, Sligo (2016-2019), along with an NFQ Level 6 qualification in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from the same institution (2014-2015).
