Jason Calabrese is an experienced software engineer and co-founder dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with Type 1 Diabetes. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Dexcom since June 2020, Jason focuses on developing mobile applications, frameworks, and SDKs that alleviate the challenges associated with the condition. Prior to this role, Jason co-founded the Nightscout Project, enhancing full-stack solutions to support the diabetes community. Jason's experience also includes positions as Principal Software Engineer at Gust, where workflows for startup incorporation were developed, and as Vice President of the Board of Directors at The Nightscout Foundation, advocating for open-source diabetes management technology. Additionally, Jason held various engineering and architectural roles at companies such as ProQuest, ContentScan, and General Dynamics Devcor. Jason holds a BS in Management Science from Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business.
