Jiong Zou

Jiong Zou is a Sr. Staff Medical Device Engineer at Dexcom, where they develop new materials for continuous glucose sensors. With over a decade of experience, Jiong specializes in polymer chemistry, including advanced synthesis techniques and biodegradable polymer drug conjugates. They have also served as a Staff Scientist at Dexcom and held postdoctoral positions at Texas A&M University and the University at Buffalo, focusing on stimuli-responsive nanomaterials and polymer drug conjugates. Jiong earned a Bachelor’s degree and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Fudan University, where they conducted research on self-assembly and microwave-assisted synthesis. Jiong has published over 40 peer-reviewed papers.
