Jonathan Guiang, PhD, is a Senior Data Scientist and ML Engineer at Dexcom, where they develop AI-powered products to enhance diabetes management for millions. Jonathan earned a Ph.D. in Physics from UC San Diego in 2024, having focused on precision measurements of the Higgs boson during their five years of research. They co-founded and directed the EXPAND program, which provides research opportunities to underserved undergraduates, successfully guiding many students to full-time positions and further academic pursuits. Jonathan also holds a B.S. in Physics from UC Santa Barbara, graduated with highest honors, and received multiple departmental awards.
