Joon Chatterjee

Joon Chatterjee, PhD, is a Principal Scientist (Director) currently at Dexcom, where they focus on innovations in medical devices, biosensors, and wearables. With a robust background in polymers and biomaterials, Joon created a groundbreaking glucose-monitoring biosensor that significantly advanced the Continuous Glucose Monitoring industry. They have a track record of leading complex projects from research through commercialization, holding 39 filed patents, including 20 issued. Previously, Joon worked at Senseonics, Incorporated, where they developed proprietary technologies that doubled the lifespan of CGM devices, and they have contributed to research at renowned institutions like the University of Minnesota.
