Katie Hurst

Katie Hurst is an experienced professional in the biomedical engineering field, currently serving as a Director at Dexcom since October 2013, following roles as Engineering Manager and Research Engineer within the same organization. Prior to this, Katie worked as an Engineer II at BioSPEQ, where extensive validation training and support for Capillary Electrophoresis process qualification were provided. Katie's earlier experience at Dexcom included positions as a Clinical Research Associate and Research Associate, focused on implementing clinical studies for FDA approval of Continuous Glucose Monitoring Devices and developing a blood glucose sensor membrane system. Additional internships at Rose-Hulman Ventures and TriMedx further enriched Katie's expertise in medical device design and clinical engineering. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
