Martin Hartel

Martin Hartel, PhD is currently a Senior Scientist at Dexcom, with previous experience at QuidelOrtho, Terasaki Institute for Biomedical Innovation, UCLA Department of Bioengineering, Jacobs School of Engineering, and UC San Diego. During their time at these institutions, Martin developed various monitoring platforms, biosensors, wearable sensors, and biofuel cells. Additionally, Martin led projects and teams, including winning a prestigious competition and awards for their work. Martin holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Nanoengineering from UC San Diego.
