Matthew Herring is an experienced hardware engineer specializing in high-volume digital set-top box development and compatibility investigations for medical devices. Currently serving as a Staff Test Engineer at Dexcom since December 2021, Matthew leads efforts to explore new market opportunities for continuous glucose monitoring products. Prior roles include Senior Hardware Engineer at CliniComp, where Matthew oversaw hardware development for novel medical devices, and positions at Qualcomm, CommScope, ARRIS, and Motorola, focusing on system design and project leadership in automotive and consumer electronics. Matthew holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.
