Mike Ploof

Mike Ploof is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware engineering and management. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Hardware Engineering at Dexcom since October 2015, Mike oversees an R&D team focusing on the design of medical devices, particularly advanced technologies for Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems. Previously, from July 2001 to August 2015, Mike held the position of Senior Hardware Engineering Manager at Entropic Communications, where leadership was provided to a team of 22 engineers across the US and China while managing internal validation hardware designs and high-volume product development for tier 1 companies. Mike holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University and further education in LAMP from UCSD.
