Nate Heintzman is an experienced data science professional with a strong background in biomedical sciences and health technology. Currently serving as Director of Data Science and Director of Data Partnerships at Dexcom since April 2014, Nate has held various leadership roles in data partnerships and research. In addition, Nate is a Qualcomm Tricorder XPRIZE Judge, promoting innovative healthcare technology, and founded NanoCellect Biomedical, Inc. Nate co-founded ScholarNexus Consulting Group, LLC and has served as a Glass Explorer at Google. Previous experience includes advisory roles and teaching positions at the University of California, San Diego, as well as chairing the Board of Directors for Insulindependence, Inc. Nate holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from UC San Diego and a BA in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Gustavus Adolphus College.
