Peter Hutchison

Peter Hutchison is a mechanical and manufacturing engineer with extensive experience in the field. At Dexcom, where they have worked since 2019, Peter has served as a Staff Mechanical Engineer and currently holds the position of Staff Automation Engineer, focusing on process improvements and equipment qualification. Previously, Peter spent nearly a decade at Taylor Guitars as a Manufacturing Engineer, where they played a key role in product development and process optimization. Peter's early career included a position as a Development Engineer at California Motors, specializing in hybrid electric vehicle development. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and are currently pursuing a certificate in LEAN Processes at San Diego State University.
