Rui Ma is a Senior Staff Algorithm Engineer at Dexcom since March 2023, having previously served as a Staff Scientist in Bioinformatics at Element Biosciences from March 2020 to February 2023. Rui Ma's extensive experience at Dexcom from November 2014 to March 2020 includes roles as Staff Algorithm Engineer and Senior Algorithm Engineer, focusing on advanced sensor technology and data analysis. Academic achievements include a postdoctoral position at UC San Diego where Rui Ma worked on feedback information theory and network analysis of intracranial EEG data, and a prior postdoctoral research associate role at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, which involved developing EEG-based brain-computer interfaces and algorithms for motor imagery signals. Rui Ma holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and an M.S. in Applied Maths from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as a B.S. in Neurobiology from the University of Science and Technology of China.
