Swee Ling Ong

Swee Ling Ong is an experienced microbiologist with over a decade of expertise in the field. Currently serving as the Microbiological Technical Section Head at SGS since May 2011, Swee Ling Ong is a Registered Food Analyst and Approved Signatory responsible for reviewing microbiological and nucleic acid test results for a range of products, including food, water, cosmetics, and medical devices. Swee Ling Ong is also a Certified Train-The-Trainer, focusing on compliance with MS ISO/IEC 17025 and Good Laboratory Practice. Prior experience includes a role as a microbiologist at Depco United, where Swee Ling Ong served as an approved signatory for microbiological testing, and at Teck Aun Medical Factory, where microbiological and physical testing was conducted. Swee Ling Ong holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biotechnology from AIMST University and Institut Perubatan, Sains dan Teknologi Asia, earned between 2003 and 2006.
