Tom Barker

Tom Barker, MScFE/MSCS/BBA, is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity, software engineering, and mobile application development. Currently serving as a Staff Cybersecurity Engineer and Technical Leader at Dexcom since January 2022, Tom also contributes as a Technical Editor for Kodeco. Prior roles include Lead Engineer at Principled Technologies, Android Engineer at Cisco and Validic, and Principal Software Engineer at Cape City Command, among others. Tom's expertise encompasses a range of programming languages and tools, focusing on Android development, data science, and real-time control systems. Tom holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge, a Master's degree in Financial Engineering from WorldQuant University, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Memphis.
