Vidhya Jayabalan

Vidhya Jayabalan currently serves as the Product Owner of Product Security at Dexcom, a position held since September 2023. Previously, Vidhya was Senior Manager of Product Security at PayPal from April 2013 to September 2023, where responsibilities included building a high-performing Product Security team and driving the reduction of security vulnerabilities in applications. Vidhya also held roles at PayPal as Manager and Product Owner of AppSec Services, focusing on integrating security tools within the software development lifecycle for over 5,000 developers, and as a member of the Technical Stream for Application Security, implementing a Secure Product Lifecycle methodology. Prior experience includes serving as a Software Development Architect at Cognizant, contributing to a customer service platform that saved $500 million, and as a Software Developer at Wipro, where the development of a Java-based engine resulted in significant cost savings. Vidhya holds a Bachelor's degree from Anna University Chennai.
