Laurel Eddy

Laurel Eddy is an experienced Technical Writer with a diverse background in various industries. Currently employed at Meta, DISYS, and Disys @ Facebook since June 2019, Laurel has honed skills in technical documentation, instructional design, and editing. Previous experience includes a role at Boeing, where responsibilities encompassed creating job aids and course materials for the 777X wing, and positions at Pacific Plumbing Supply Co, Notkin Mechanical Engineers, and Ato Apiafi Architects, focusing on document development, technical editing, and standardization of procedures. Laurel’s career began in journalism, with over 500 articles published at the Daily Astorian. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Instructional Design and Technology at Western Illinois University, Laurel also holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Journalism from Western Washington University.
