Matteo Pasquali

Matteo Pasquali is the Hartsook Professor and Director of the Carbon Hub, leading research in nanotechnology, chemical engineering, and advanced materials. With extensive experience as a Principal Investigator and Department Chair at prestigious institutions, Matteo has a proven track record in mentoring and leadership. Matteo’s previous roles include Chief Scientific Officer at Nanolinea and various positions at Rice University, including Chair of the Chemistry Department. They earned a Laurea in Chemical Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, followed by a PhD and postdoctoral work at the University of Minnesota.
