David Turney

David Turney currently serves as a Sr. Robotics Engineer in Mechatronics HW at Dexterity, Inc., a position held since January 2022. Previously, David worked at Swift Engineering, Inc. from May 2019 to December 2021, where roles included R&D Robotics Engineer and R&D Robotics Engineer Intern. Key accomplishments include the design and implementation of embedded systems for bipedal humanoid robots, development of finite state machines for humanoid robot controllers, and the creation of custom firmware. Earlier experience encompasses various internships focused on robotics, including the development of a wearable robotic hand and integration of control systems for ground rovers. David earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering from California State University, Chico.
