Daniel Ekins

Daniel Ekins serves as the Director of Valuation and Advisory at Sovereign Valuations, specializing in real estate valuation across various sectors, and is a Non-Executive Chair of the Real Estate Securities Investment Committee at Dexus. Ekins also contributes to the Property Council of Australia as a Course Facilitator, focusing on property investment and finance education. Previously, Ekins held the position of Financial Director at North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club and served as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Technology Sydney. A seasoned professional, Ekins spent over a decade at Deutsche Asset Management, leading real estate securities in the Asia Pacific region. Ekins’ career began in commercial real estate with roles at HAZAMA ANDO CORPORATION, JLL, and Jackman and Treloar Real Estate. Ekins holds multiple degrees in real estate management and finance from the University of South Australia and other institutions, alongside professional qualifications from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees.
