Jason Howes

Jason Howes is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Executive General Manager of Funds Capital & Product Development at Dexus since August 2020. In this role, Jason also oversees Alternative & Healthcare Funds and manages the Opportunity Fund Series. Prior to Dexus, Jason was Managing Director at Lone Star Funds from September 2016 to June 2020, where responsibilities included leading the Australia/NZ operations and managing special situations and alternative credit investments. Jason's earlier experience includes serving as Director at Fortress Investment Group from September 2010 to September 2016, focusing on special situations and alternate credit investments. Jason began a career at Macquarie Group Ltd in 2000, contributing to Macquarie Capital until 2010. Jason holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge, a Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University.
