Aideen Cusack

Aideen Cusack is an Economic and Commercial Attaché currently serving as First Secretary in the Irish Permanent Representation to the EU in Brussels, where they focus on the Single Market, Competition, Copyright, Intellectual Property, and Better Regulation. They previously held the role of Economic and Commercial Attaché at the Embassy of Ireland in London in 2023 and worked at the Department of Foreign Affairs as Economic and Commercial Attaché and Competitiveness Attaché for Ireland to the EU from 2022 to 2023. Aideen has considerable experience in various roles within the Irish government, including positions at the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation and An Garda Síochána, where they contributed to IT projects and international trade policy.
