Martin Wall

Martin Wall currently serves as the Head of Public Diplomacy and Press, Länder Relations and Climate/Energy at the Embassy of Ireland in Berlin, a position held since July 2019. Prior roles include Deputy Director in both the Climate Unit and Multilateral UN & IFIs Unit at the Department of Foreign Affairs, Ireland. Martin's academic experience features fellowships at University College Cork and adelphi focused on the intersection of climate change and security challenges. Additional management roles include overseeing a Centre of Excellence for maritime startups and communications at IMERC. Martin's education includes a PhD in History from University College Cork, an Executive Certificate in Leadership and Management from Hertie School, and Professional Education in User Experience and Interaction Design from The Interaction Design Foundation.
