Robert McGuinness

Robert McGuinness is currently serving as Ireland's Energy Attaché to the EU and previously held the position of Ireland's Environment Attaché to the EU. With extensive experience in energy policy, they acted as Principal Officer in the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications, where they led the development of Ireland's first offshore wind auction. Earlier roles included positions at the Department of Finance Ireland and the Department of Communications, Climate Action & Environment, where they contributed to significant fiscal and energy projects. Robert holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Arts in Financial Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Management from University College Dublin.
