Shari Williams, MUP, has extensive experience in community engagement and urban planning, currently serving as the Director of Engagement at Detroit Future City since August 2015. In previous roles, Shari has managed community partnerships, developed strategic engagement strategies, and coordinated initiatives to enhance community education and participation. Notable achievements include establishing a mini grant program that engaged over 200 residents and fostering collaboration with multiple organizations. Shari's background also includes positions in family and community partnership management and customer service, complemented by academic achievements including a Master of Urban Planning and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies of Social Science from Michigan State University.
