Tom Goddeeris is an accomplished community development professional with extensive experience in urban planning and economic revitalization. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and previously as Director of Community & Economic Development for Detroit Future City since 2017, Tom focuses on housing, adaptive reuse of industrial properties, and neighborhood planning while also advising various initiatives. From 1991 to 2017, Tom led the Grandmont Rosedale Development Corporation as Executive Director, overseeing program development, strategic planning, and project implementation for neighborhood revitalization. Tom holds a Master's Degree in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University and a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan, alongside executive training in community development from Harvard Kennedy School.
