Michael Lash

Michael Lash has an extensive work experience in finance and accounting spanning over three decades. Michael started their career at Charter Bank in 1984, where they served as a VP & Controller for nearly 18 years. In 2002, they joined Monroe Bank & Trust as an Assistant VP - Accounting Officer and steadily advanced to the role of SVP & Controller. During their 17-year tenure at Monroe Bank & Trust, Lash managed various accounting operations, including financial reporting, regulatory reporting, accounts payable, investment accounting, reconciliations, payroll processing, and cash management. Michael also supervised tax administration, stock-based compensation accounting, department audits, and examinations. In 2020, Lash transitioned to DFCU Financial, where they currently hold the position of Senior Vice President & Controller.

Michael Lash obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where they attended from 1979 to 1983.
