Anders Schmidt-Petersen

Anders Schmidt-Petersen is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial management and accounting. Currently serving as Regional Finance Director at DFDS since February 2018, Anders is responsible for month and year-end close, overseeing a controller team, and managing various finance-related functions. Prior to this role, Anders held significant positions at KMD as Vice President of Finance, where responsibilities included managing annual accounts, cash management, and involvement in M&A activities. Previous experience includes roles as Finance Manager at Lemvigh-Müller A/S and Chief Accountant at Louis Poulsen El-teknik A/S, with early career experience as an Accountant at Grant Thornton. Anders holds a Master of Science in Business Economics and Auditing from Copenhagen Business School and a B.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from Storstrøms Handelshøjskole center.
